Terra Luna

Terra Luna is an annual event by Quixotic that transforms the Overland Park, Kansas Arboretum into a magical forest full of musicians, performers as well as light and art installations.

For the last several years, I’ve had the opportunity to do this projection piece at a lovely pond near the entrance of the experience.

Each year I created fun new visuals in TouchDesigner and mapped them to the trees and landscaping on the bank of this pond. We have done both two and three-projector setups for this space. Outdoor projection on irregular surfaces is a really fun and unique challenge.
